Side Trip To Cafe 1450 Mokha For Adeni Tea and Sweets - Saw Mary The Muralist Painting!

Traveled up and down Rte 9 today placing yard signs for CareFull MD in Beacon NY designed by Katie James Inc. for Tin Shingle’s private client program. We made 1450 Mokha across from Marist in Poughkeepsie our final destination and dessert reward.

Happened to arrive when Murals By Mare was there painting the Wall of Yemen before their Grand Opening on August 14th! Seeing Mary in person was a treat in itself, as we only see her in pictures. Interview with Mary coming up next.

Co-owner Ali Dabashi Ali Dabashi fixed us the comforting Adeni Chai tea, which is sweet Yemeni spiced black leaf tea with cardamom and nutmeg made really hot with evaporated milk.

The Biscoff dessert in a can at 1450 MOkha in Poughkeepsie across from Marist in the Job Lots parking lot.

Also enjoyed an iced Strawberry Refresher drink with a Biscoff dessert in a can, as well as a whipped strawberry mouse type delight.
