Events of all kinds can be submitted for consideration for A Little Beacon Blog's widely read Things To Do In Beacon Guides. For space and time, not all events are accepted.

As per our Gratis Event Listing Qualifications, if the event is a promotion for a business, and charges a price, then the event listing fee must be paid.

There are one-time fees, and if this is an ongoing partnership, then a Event Promotion Membership is available.

Business Promotion: If this promotes business, then please buy the Event Promotion Ad Package.
Example: If you are a realtor hosting a finance seminar, you need to book the Event Promotion Ad Package.

Example: If you are a retreat destination or an expert hosting a retreat, you need to book the Event Promotion Ad Package.

Example: If you are a musician playing at a venue, you need to book the Event Promotion Ad Package.

Musical Performance: Especially if people need to buy a ticket, even a “suggested donation,” please buy an Event Promotion Ad Package. Restaurants and Shops can have their events listed free with a Subscription Advertising Membership.

GRATIS:
All events are curated. Because of space and time, we can’t guarantee placement on gratis listings.

Qualifications:

  • Super Unusual: Are you doing hula hooping takeover of an area of town? Where attendance is free? This usually qualifies as a free event listing for us, and makes it into our curated list.

  • Education Event: Usually for non-profits hosting an awareness opportunity. Must be free to attend. See above if this is more Business Promotion.

  • Fundraiser: Usually gratis, but depends on event. If you’ve paid to place an ad at another publication, please book our Event Promotion Ad Package.
