Job Description:

Bagelish is seeking two to three part-time employees to join our dynamic team at Bagel-ish, a bagel shop/cafe in Beacon NY which specializes in delicious all-natural bagels and sandwiches.

For the Sunday position, this is the Assistant Baker position. This person will be working directly with the owner on baking specialty bagel products. This position could also include other shifts as listed below.

Qualifications:

The front of the house team members should:

Work in a fast-paced environment.
Explain the uniqueness and benefits of the products to the customers.
Have experience working on a POS system (preferably Square).
Interact in friendly meaningful way with the public, sampling specialty bagel and food products that are sold at the premises.
Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to recipe cards and customer specifications.
Observe and assess tasks to be done. Communicate with management and staff on needs (for example when certain ingredients are running low).
Maintain cleanliness and sanitize work areas.
Work cooperatively with the team.
Follow food safety guidelines and ensure quality control.
