This year is the final year for "The Pirate Ship House". The creator, who is an upholsterer, is moving out of Beacon. Her farewell yard sign reads: "The Flying Dutchman be setting sail for the last time. Thanks for the many years of booty, boos, and a treasury of beautiful memories. Fair Winds to ye Beacon!” This is your final year to enjoy everything she created inside. ALBB took a street-side video of it for you to preview. Over toward Mount Beacon is a haunted house that is an annual haunted house in a suburb at the base of the mountain. A sign is posted out by the street, and the setup looks elaborate. Locals will also be heading into "The Willows" which is the Y shape of East and West Willow near Main Street. Of course, there are lots of other places trick-or-treaters will be headed Saturday evening.
