Happening This Weekend - 4/19/2019

Beaconites are sending in their favorite views of Beacon! And what a perfect weekend for it (well... before any rain comes in!). As the City Council focuses on "viewsheds" - how and where they want to protect views as different projects are built - A Little Beacon Blog wants to know what your favorite views are, and why. See our article that has a few pictures from readers like you right now. Whether you're a resident or visitor - send us what catches your eye. Pictures can be of nature or of a building or of a combo. Details on how to submit are in this article.

Day: Saturday, April 20, 2019
Time: 11 am to 2 pm
Location: Memorial Park, Beacon, NY
Information >
The Egg Hunt at Memorial Park, scheduled for Saturday, April 20, has been canceled. In keeping participant and volunteer safety and enjoyment our number one priority, Beacon Recreation has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event due to forecasted weather. With no scheduled rain date, it is their hope to raffle bicycles and goodies later this spring, at an event to be determined. Stay tuned.
