Shelter Air HVAC Seeks Outgoing Opperations & Sales Coordinator
/Shelter Air | Hudson Valley, NY
Shelter Air is a growing, woman-owned HVAC and home performance company focused on heat pumps, electrification, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and building science.
We're looking for an outgoing, exceptionally organized person who likes people, cares about sustainability, and gets things done. This is primarily an office-based role supporting sales, customers, and day-to-day operations. All genders welcome to apply.
What You'll Do
Follow up on leads, estimates, and open proposals to help close sales.
Prepare proposals and keep customer and project information organized.
Schedule consultations, installations, service calls, airflow testing, and assessments.
File permits and coordinate inspections.
Maintain our CRM and stay on top of follow-ups.
Make post-installation follow-up calls to help ensure customers have a great experience.
Help customers navigate rebates, incentives, and project timelines.
Assist with newsletters, outreach, and community events.
Occasionally join the owner Kimberly Sevilla on site visits and events.
Who You Are
You're friendly, confident, organized, and detail-oriented. You take initiative, follow through, solve problems, and don't need someone reminding you what needs to happen next.
You're also interested in sustainability, technology, climate solutions, and the connection between buildings and human health.
HVAC experience isn't necessary. We'll teach you about heat pumps, airflow, electrification, indoor air quality, and building science. We're much more interested in someone who's reliable, curious, good with people, and knows how to get things done.
What's In It for You?
Grow with a small, fast-growing, woman-owned company.
Learn building science, electrification, energy efficiency, and emerging technology.
Do work that improves how people live while reducing our impact on the planet.
Help disrupt an old-school industry. We like doing things differently.
Work directly with dynamic, hands-on leadership. We challenge ourselves and each other to keep getting better.
We work hard, share a lot of laughs, and genuinely enjoy working together.
Must love dogs. Seriously.
