Ok, for all you people who celebrate Mother's Day! There is a good message from our friend Moraya Seeger DeGeare here at BFF Therapy (who also has a love and sex wellness column at Refinery29), that encourages us to sit with our feelings about Mother's Day, and to be honest with how we want to spend the day. As a mother (this is Katie writing), I've always enjoyed being on my own in the garden, having peace with the plants and the soil. This year, we're going to shake things up a bit and be at the Cupcake Festival (yes, THE Cupcake Festival that was in Beacon two times until it was two times too many as everyone overdosed on sweets and parking issues) at Dutchess Stadium (now called Heritage Financial Park.
