Beacon Seniors With Parking Permits Paint Their Parking Spots For 2026/2027 School Year

Beacon seniors were out in the Beacon High School parking lot pre-season painting their own parking spots to their own designs. “We had a few students propose this idea a couple of years ago,” Principal Corey Dwyer told A Little Beacon Blog.

Once seniors receive a parking permit from the school, and have submitted a design for approval, they are greenlit for customizing their parking spots. “Ms. Haddeland organizes the sign-up every summer,” Dr. Dwyer continued. “We've found this to be a fun senior privilege that allows our students to showcase their interests and leave their mark on the school for the year.”

Any students who would like to identify their completed designs here at ALBB can send a photo with their name to ALBB for publishing. Students can be in the photo if they want to be, or simply submit a photo of their finished work. Email to editorial@alittlebeaconblog.com
