Happening This Weekend - 9/1/2017

Whoa, it's suddenly fall-wardrobe weather! Autumn is here... the cooler air breezes in and some leaves are turning. You know what that means: Beer festivals and Halloween decorations are just around the corner. If you're in Beacon for Labor Day weekend, you're in for easy entertainment. You have tons of Art Galleries to choose from, outdoor patios in our Restaurant Guide, and some of the Hudson Valley's best retail therapy in our Shopping Guide.

P.S.: If you're donating to Hurricane Harvey relief funds this weekend, go the extra step and mark your calendar to donate a few months from now as well. Victims of hurricanes past have said that support slows down after the weather clears and flood waters recede - precisely when recovery efforts get up and running and need ongoing financial support.

Weekend events featured here are drawn from A Little Beacon Blog's Things To Do In Beacon Guides, but more happenings throughout the week are at the Guides themselves, so be sure to check them during the week.
